Wow,
That was pretty darn cool. I think I will be able to convert it into a video file and host it for everyone to enjoy if Smitty doesnt mind.
Thank you so much for the great time. The video just brought back all the exitement. Such great hospitality, beautiful country, cool mopeds.
You guys named my dog (he loves it), fixed my arrow, fed us. I think I drank at least 5 different kinds of Root Beer that day.
Smitty has a great sense of humor. That's so cool. I never thought I'd see the infamous boot... bagged by "the curse of the arrow"-- the detailed footage of loading the bike up--Lenny's going to love that one. I love the end scroll
"Fastest bike....that finished the ride" (pause mine). If you can't laugh at your own adventures you get uptight. No matter what happened that day...Smitty was always smiling. When I saw that boot and the tailpile... I almost died!
Thanks to everyone for making it so much fun. All the effort getting my Arrow going, everything was just so cool. We don't have roads like that around portland at all-- near the airport was pretty crazy stuff. |

On the high speed road we crossed and the downhill gravel road were near an airport. Jeanie pointed it out from the top of the mountain... I think |

Oh yea, now I remember the airport! I'm like John, I was trying my best to remember where in the world we saw an airport. Wasn't it where we took the group picture, that over-looked the valley?
Wayne, we hope everyone enjoys the video as much as you did! Glad to hear it's another hit. We're sooo looking foward to the next big Moped Ride ;^)
I'll tell ya', I had one heck of a weekend at the Mountain Moped Ride, LOL!!! I started-out on the fastest 'ped of the pack, and was humbled back down to the very slowest (the Arrow that burned my boot, lol) in order to finish the Ride on a Moped. I still think I had the most fun though ... enjoyed every minute of it, well, except when I thought I was going to get beat-up by the truck-load of rednecks, when I got lost from the group, LOL!!! I was sure ready to feed them my helmet if I'd had to though! It was only three of them ;^)
OK now, if Wayne's gotten his, others have gotten them too, so please just let us know that you've gotten the DVD when it arrives. Thanks!
See ya' at the next one ;^) _________________

I know why you missed the airport, the arrow was going so darn fast everything was just a blur!!
I think we were getting to it close down on that dirt road toward the end of the ride. Great soundtrack too, a couple of my friends have mentioned what a great selection it is.
Thanks again, next time we can us a couple of cameras so ther is more raw footage..... and also give the riders some info about "how to ride for the camera"
:)
Melissa said it wasn't easy to drive rar enough ahead of all those high speed bikes and then parking the car in a safe spot and allowing for time for lisa to frame a shot...the ones you guys got came out nice but the riders could have "played for the camera" and make sure we got some nice ones of everyone going by...just timing really.
great job though, kudos to Bryan an Jeanie for having us and you and lisa for capturing it on the dvd. |

hehehe!!! The burned boot is just a "war-wound", and a cheerfully taken souvenir, from a fantastic and unforgetable Mountain Moped's Moped Ride, LOL!!! ;^)
When you sell that Arrow, and they ask you "what's that smell", just tell 'em that's the remnants of Smitty's boot, LOL!!! _________________
