Request for info...

A colleague of mine has a son who will be attending college in Galveston TX and she wants to buy him and his girlfriend a moped each. She figures it would be cheaper to buy and operate than a car and faster transportation than a bicycle.

I told her I would appeal to the MRA crowd for info on moped laws and models for the Galveston area.

Anyone out there can give me a hand?

Google search the Texas Certified Moped List. It's, ummm, quite interesting.
